Take in the majestic Tall Ships as they make a stop in Port Alberni during the Tall Ship Challenge.
"Thunder in the Valley" (Alberni Valley Drag Racing) 
This annual August weekend Drag Racing event draws over 10,000 fans and 250 cars from all over North America. It is the only 1/4 mile drag racing destination on Vancouver Island.
Alberni District Fall Fair
The big annual 4-day Fall Fair in September features livestock, produce, crafts, prizes and entertainment for the whole family.
Forest Fest
Celebrating the heritage and culture of the West Coast logging industry, the Forest Fest weekend is based at the McLean Mill National Historic Site.
Port Alberni Toy Run
This annual event draws over 800 bikers and many community businesses to bring toys and gifts to underprivileged children and the elderly in Port Alberni, Ucluelet and Tofino.
